A quick short video on how to use the demo sites.

Today’s little video was shot on a tablet to show folks just how easy it is to setup one of the 3 demo sites we have available here. If I can run a setup on a tablet anyone should be able to run an install.

It really is quite easy, and I will also be adding the video below to the Demo Sites How-To page later today.

There is one minor error in the video where I mention a weak email, that should be “password”. But I do not do multiple takes! Not Hollywood here folks.

Hey…there is another new video here!!

So you want to try out the demo sites but are still clueless? Watch the video below and although you will probably be forever clueless, you might someday thank me…after watching, click this link and test out the demo site. Keep in mind that the demo site may have reverted back to the install page, since I don’t want to use up 1 of only 3 demo sites on a fake blog. But if that is the case, simply run the install, keeping in mind that the database/username/password for the database is the same as the sub-domain name.

I occasionally promote myself…because, well…I can. A short video on a script I edited…vLot

vlot2It finally occurred to me today that I simply do not promote the fantastical script that I edited the crap out of last year and made much better than it was.

The best part of this whole endeavor was that I offer my own edited version for free, just like the original! Sure, if you want to pay me to edit some more or set it up, I’ll happily take your money, but the bottom line is that this Car Dealership software works, is easy to edit and runs MUCH faster than any WordPress based theme/plugin type site.

So without further ado, I invite those interested in cars (or bikes, or tractors, or whatever the hell you are selling) to spend 7 minutes and watch….

What? You want to backup your server?

So once you learn how easy it is to run a Wordress server from a virtual machine you will begin to think, “Oh crap, how do I back this site up?” Of course you can use the UpdraftPlus plugin to back up the database, but…..you still worry. Well I do…so…of course I have created another less than Hollyweird quality video to show you just how easily this is accomplished.

So watch and learn and endure the crap music….

Bottom line is you will need a spare Hard drive and  USB Dock to send the data to. My backups take about 1-2 minutes using a Sabrent USB 3.0 dock and the original 80 gb drive that came with this PC.

Another video…how to use the “dummy sites”

hot newsSo right here, right now you could try out a WordPress install and setup a site. Yeah, it’s been covered here at least twice…so for those that must have (ANOTHER) video , I have chosen one of the sub domains I allocated on here and am going to setup a site, in short order…

Below is the full list of sites you can try/use:

Instructions: the sub-domain (in the video example: yfwp2) is the username/password for ALL the above sites. So if it asks for a username or password during setup…yeah…it just ain’t that difficult. For instance if the site was totallyfree.yourfreewordpress.com, the username would be….think about it, yeah totallyfree and the database name would be…totallyfree and the database password, yeah, same …totallyfree.

Watch learn…and as usual, I apologize, because this just isn’t Hollywood and I am not trying to do anything but teach.
