Well….based on the title here…and because I do not pull any punches it means your sorry ass did not follow the rules, or simply failed to ask me how to get a free website! So in that case you are a twit but you can still redeem your sorry ass and go to Google+ and add me. Then ask me for a site AND then RTFI…on how to proceed. (RTFI=Read the Freaking Instructions).
If you can’t follow these simple instructions….then my guess is that you should neither be reproducing nor driving a car.
So the bottom line is that if you don’t follow me on Google+ and if you are NOT a conservative…well you ain’t getting a site…if that pisses you off then so be it!
So when my cable modem was totally screwing up everything in sight by blocking local hosts and also causing numerous outbound errors to every website on the planet earth…I did do an update to my local virtual machine hosts file.
While I do not believe that this is the issue, I have since edited it (the hosts file) to reflect the real values that should be displayed.
If indeed this was the issue, which I myself doubt I will apologize for it, if not, well…I shall continue searching!
That is all for now…walk away, don’t bitch…move along!
There have been several recent issues related to the server crashing and showing a corrupted disk the last few days. Suffice to say, I am all over those issues and running nightly backups. But if you happen to be posting something save the images and articles locally, because if they are done between backups you will lose those parts/uploaded files.
I believe this issue is related to a zero day hack of WordPress but I am as yet uncertain. In the meantime, continue on as normal and I will run a backup each evening at roughly 0200 hrs CDT.
Tonight store to check the Apache server log and see just who has been hitting the server just before these crashes. Those IP addresses will be blocked.
If you are running site here, login and update your site!
That is all…for a bit….
But I did notice an issue here…I had updated my /etc/hosts file here and it was showing a bad ip….probably not the issue, but fixed anyhoo!
So perhaps you have finally decided to take me up on my offer of free WordPress hosting, or perhaps you are simply playing in one of the free “dummy” sites I have allowed you to try this stuff out with.
Either way, watch the video, learn and have fun! It really is super easy…
